2. His Ministry
- The
Prophet in the Wilderness: "As it
is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The
voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight." Luke 3:4
- Jesus
is Baptized: "Now when all
the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being
baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost
descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from
heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased."
Luke 3:21, 22.
- Behold
the Lamb of God! "And looking upon
Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!" John 1:36
- Satan
Plans to Trick Jesus: Satan knew if
he could not trick Jesus that he would loose his kingdom and someday be
destroyed.
- Satan
Tries to Trick Jesus: "And Jesus
answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is
written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou
serve." Luke 4:8
- Resist
the Devil! "Submit yourselves
therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James

- The
First Disciples Follow Jesus: "And

& Believe the Gospel! "And saying, The time is

the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and
now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes." John

- Satan Looses a Victim:
A Boy who wanted to party all the time gets in big trouble. Jesus sets
him free from Satan's control.
- Jesus Heals a Man with Leprosy:
Leprosy was a terrible disease that made peoples face and fingers and
toes rot away until they died! It was a symbol of sin--no one could heal
it but Jesus.
- Down Through a Hole in the Roof: A paralyzed man longs for his sins to be forgiven. Jesus forgives him
and heals him.
